Civil War; The Story of Two Incan Brother

The Incan empire was a great and powerful empire. All of their gold and goods could make the Spanish dream. They had one thing in their empire that was not right, two brothers wanting all of the empire for them self. This was a war that would leave its mark in the Incan empire.

The king of the Inca Huayna Carparc was the father of more than 50 children including two very dissimilar brothers that would leave their mark in Incan history. After raining for many years he died of small pox and before his final days of life he told his two sons Atahualpa and Huascar, that he would split this empire between them. This led to a war between the two brothers. Huascar was the right full heir of this empire but Atahualpa had the loyalty of the northern army. Atahualpa was a worrier but Huscar was not, and Atahualpa was not a legitimate son. This meant he was not supposed to be eligible to take the throne. Atahualpa had a very strong army compare to Huscar, but Huscar ruled the capital. When the war started Atahualpa General had an army of 100 000 men, and Huascar had an army of 60 000 men. Huascar was finally over taken and killed at war by Atahualpa. Now the throne belonged to Atahualpa.

The two brothers were very, very different. One was strong and powerful (Atahualpa) and the other had political power but was cowered. When the war ended there was nothing left. Only Atahualpa had a few of his men that had survived the war, around 600 men. Now that all of the suffering was over the Spanish were arriving. A great army, with weapons, and diseases that would destroy the Incan empire. Atahualpa had no idea that the Spanish were arriving just a few days later. He was proud of his Victory, and it was time for everyone to take a rest. All the army was weak and they had to recover from their wounds. The Spanish arrived a few days later, now it was over for the Incan empire, powerless against them. The war suddenly happened. The Incan were not prepared for what was coming and they all died at war. Atahualpa died seeing the Spanish conquer the Incan Empire. This was an easy win for the Spanish. Now the Incan Empire belonged to the Spanish. They had all the gold and goods from the Inca that they could ever dream of.
